About the NCLSN Survey

Following a May 2010 NCLSN meeting in New York, three National Cancer Legal Services Network members (the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, Atlanta Legal Aid, and LegalHealth, a division of the New York Legal Assistance Group) developed a comprehensive national provider survey and distributed it to approximately 50 organizations.

The collected data, includes general organization information, staff resources, the number and type of clients served, method of services delivery, whether the organization provides training services and areas of law in which services are provided. The data was used to develop the national provider directory and map of services on this website. The survey also allows the NCLSN to identify areas (both geographic and substantive) where additional legal resources are needed.
